SubscribeLike many hip-hop moguls, Diddy owns his own plane. However because of rising gas prices, a trip from NY to Los Angeles round trip now runs Diddy a cool $250,000. This has “forced” even Diddy to change his flying methods and fly commercial like normal people. Moguls with their own Gulfstreams aren’t the only ones suffering in the music industry. Many smaller hip-hop artists who don’t have label support and rely on touring revenue streams are forced to stay home or alter their tours due to the rising gas costs of going cross country.

What Diddy complains about has no meaning to average joe’s like us. Plus, I agree with nunya, the downloads are destroying the music bizness, but for the greedy record executives. That’s who is really taking a pinch. There’s a lot of independent money out there…

Maybe if he didn’t need to ride 50 deep, he could fly a lot cheaper..I don’t see Tiger or Bill Gates, complaining about gas.
