Video: Swizz Beatz w/ Street Science educational PSA

Swizz Beatz has taken part in a educational PSA marketing campaign for Street Science, a school supply maker with an urban focus. As part of the Street Science ad campaign timed for “back-to-school,” urban celebs from Swizz Beatz, Yung Berg and DJ Enuff have taken part in PSAs and print ads in urban magazines.
“Our goal was to try to get personalities and artists who are in the target range of our target consumer,” said Joseph Anthony, fonder of Street Science. “We didn’t want anyone who had achieved goals that were seemingly unattainable. We wanted to pick people with careers that are accomplishable.” Check out the Swizz Beatz and Yung Berg PSAs here:

I went to public school too! It’s good to know that the hip-hop community is finally starting to give education the “coolness” factor that it has been lacking for a long, long time.

I checked out this Street Science line of school supplies and they are super-cool! I wish I had notebooks like that when I was in school. I heard they are in K-Mart, but I found them on Amazon.
