Our friends over at Sean John have informed us that they are looking for a designer to be part of their Design Management Team of the Sean John, Menswear Division.
As a member of this team, you will create and implement all stages of the design and development process Рfrom the initial concept through final production fittings for Sean John Menswear. The job is located at Sean John Headquarters in New York. Requirements as follows:
- Degree in Fashion Design.
- 3 to 4 years of menswear apparel design experience.
- Solid understanding of product category.
- Ability to design original, innovative product for our customer.
- Ability to design into various price points.
- Ability to do Technical Flat Sketches by hand and computer.
- Ability to make Concept & Mood Presentation Boards.
- Ability to make accurate CAD Model Books for Sales Team.
- Knowledge of Garmet Execution and Trims.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel.
- Knowledge of preparing a Technical Design Package.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
