Curtis announced at last year’s Sundance Film Festival that he was launching his own film production company called Cheetah Vision. The concept was for 50′s new production company to be an outlet for him to produce his own films about his own topics with his own direction and with no major studio intervention. The result?

Introducing “Before I Self Destruct,” the directorial debut of 50 Cent and the first film under the Cheetah Vision banner. The movie will release with his upcoming album but will not be in national theaters and will have limited distribution. This is 50′s attempt to create “street cinema” and get back to his roots of the streets and not of Hollywood glitz and glamor.
