Big Boi expands acting career and lands “Law & Order” role

Since BET’s “Rap City” is now gone, “Law & Order” can take the title as the TV show that helps support hip-hop artists the most. Ludacris, Method Man, Ice-T and the dude from Onyx all have had prominent roles on the show. Now Big Boi can join the group as he has signed on to play the role of Gots Money, a big time rapper with a hobby of exporting illegal animals. The “Law & Order: SVU” episode airs November 25th.

While Big Boi has been busy recording his next album, he also has been keeping himself busy having just landed a multi-million dollar promotional deal with Full Throttle Energy drink (owned by Coca-Cola). This was his first national promotional deal and is a partnership to launch his “Sir Luscious Leftfoot” album as Full Throttle will be paying for marketing and his tour.
