While Pharrell’s BBC and Ice Cream clothing lines have been monster hits overseas, particularly in Japan, reaction has been fairly mixed here in the U.S. On one side you have the street wear fans who are willing to line up for hours in NYC to get a glimpse of the new gear. On the other side you have the haters who feel the style is over-priced, too bubble-gum sweet, and Skateboard P has “sold out.”
Regardless what you might think, Pharrell’s hi-end, hi-concept fashion line is still here and celebrating their three year anniversary in style at their Japan store this Friday. Pharrell will be on hand along with designer partner Nigo and DJ Premiere spinning. And of course no BBC event would be complete without an exclusive tee shown here.

BBC and Pharrell has haters because it is succesfull. That’s why.
I dont like BBC or Ice Cream because I dont like the designs or style. Has nothing to do with Pharrell, everything to do with style.
I dont hate P but I’m not a fan of his style either. A little too homo for me.
Thanks for putting back fashion over 10 years. Now we got kids running around wearing tight pants, fruity shoes, shiny belt buckles and regular stupid apparel.
I rock the BBC and proud of it
Yo Crispin, you probably like backpack rappers and get your coffee from starbucks…
