Dr. Dre releases new “Beats by Dre: Tour” edition headphones

Dr. Dre’s “Beats by Dre” headphones were released awhile back with failry positive reviews by the audiophiles, but many complained about the steep $350 price tag. Now, partner Monster Cable and Dre are releasing a second version of the “Beats by Dre” line called the Tour which are cheaper priced ear buds. The Tour goes for $150 and features the same “cutting edge” Monster Cable technology and even tangle free cords. Now if only Dre can use his own headphones, get in the studio and release Detox!

I have the original Beats by Dre and I love em. The noise cancellation is excellent and perfect for loud party environments or even in the studio. Not sure I’ll get these ear buds but I know they will be good.

$350 for some headphones in this economy is insane unless you are actually making money with music. I seen some kids with these Beats by Dre headphones and that makes me sick. Now these TOUR edition ones are a bit more respectable. I’m gonna try em out.

Personally I think these are over-rated. I have the $350 versions from a friend and they are just as good as the $80 ones I used before.

yea, but which wuld u rather say, o look at these 80$ headphones i got from walmart! or look at these $350 headphones i got from beats by dre.com. and plus the beats look waaaay more sick than any other headphone including any pair of skull candys

MAN, these drephones are off the charts good. I have never run into a better set to put on my head. The details are ridiculous and and quality is outlandish. It's like HD ueber-good. I copped the drephones last week and I'll NEVER go back to earbuds or bose again. Drephones for life.
