Rumors that Kanye’s long awaited Pastelle clothing line or a separate Kanye clothing line would be sold at malls across America in Wet Seal stores were running so wild that Kanye personally had to kill the rumors. It all started because some of Kanye’s merchandise including his album t-shirts are sold at the store and online. Kanye recently wrote in his blog:

“I’M NOT DOING CLOTHING WITH WET SEAL… I JUST READ THAT SOMEWHERE AND WANTED TO DISPEL THAT.”

If I was Kanye I would quickly squash that rumor too. No offense but Wet Seal is not exactly the epitome of urban fashion retailing. At least it’s not Forever 21. Hopefully one day we will actually see a clothing line from Kanye, although Pastelle is finally set to launch this January. No way he would want mall distribution though. We all know Pastelle is going to be very exclusive…and very expensive.
