The true hip-hop fans from back in the day remember when Run DMC ruled the airwaves in December ’87 with their Christmas song “Christmas in Hollis” which paid tribute to Hollis Hills in Queens, NY. Fast forward, twenty-one years and the song is back. Well kinda.
Palm Centro, you know, creators of the Palm Pilot, have remixed the song for their new “Clause” ad campaign. Song is called “Claus Anthem” and is being used in the ads that are currently running in national TV. Check the ad out and I included the original Run DMC video as well just for ol times sake. Props to Charlie and AdAge for the heads up.
