Now that LL Cool J has entrenched his clothing line in every Sears department store across the nation, the natural progression was for him to become a spokesperson for the entire company. Sears is using LL as one of their main endorsements for their holiday season ad campaign which includes TV ads and internet shorts about the gifts LL received as a kid that made his dreams come true.
Check out the ad and internet short which are currently running on broadcast and cable TV across the nation.
With this ad campaign, LL is now officially a spokesperson for the multibillion dollar department store. But does he lose street cred as a result? Vote it now on the Trendz Report Meter!

Hate to be the one to break it to you but LL lost his street cred in the 90s. Since he has none left then just cash out. A mogul move.
Its definitely a mogul move b/c think how much money he is getting and just like the 1st guy said – LL lost his credibility a long time ago
As long as Sears doesnt bite the dust then its a smart move. His rap career is long over just like every one says, so cash in while you can. A mogul move in my book too.
I was diggin’ LL until he dissed RZA. Now he needs to keep those big lips close.
LL is one of the best rappers of all tme, it is an argument to be said that he is the greatest based on the amount of time and music he has put out, I have not gone a year without hearing an LL banger in the club, he just had one with Dream, and it was a banger, give props when it is due, he been a mogul people, 10 movie deal with New Line or Screen Gems, a development deal with CBS, Sears means clothing for everybody, icon is word throw around alot, but it fits with LL
He could sign to any label, but his smart move would be to make an album and put it out lie Ice Cube and do the music he loves, get a spot in Vegas, go hard four days a week and just stack and start writing for his son, put him out and do it all over again
