More proof the bad real estate market effects even the rich. 50 Cent is still having trouble selling his Connecticut mansion which has been on the market for over two years. The famous house that was not only once owned by Mike Tyson but was also prominently featured on an MTV “Cribs” special has taken a $4 million price reduction due to market conditions.
Originally on the market for $18.5 million, the 17 acre property is now going for $14.5 million. 50′s real estate agent states:
“It’s the market,” Deborah Orr, of Keller Williams Realty, says. “With a unique property, everyone acknowledges it’s difficult to pinpoint the perfect market price. We feel we need to stimulate some activity, and that was the intent of the price cut.”
Maybe 50 could use another “Cribs” special to re-stimulate interest. Or throw in a couple of cases of Vitamin Water as incentive. (Source)

I don’t think he ever really lived there either. Even during the MTV special it was clear the place was empty and they were just staging everything.
It appears that many of the people showing houses don’t really live in them. I see boxes and boxes of tennis shoes that have never been used. It’s obvious that some shoe store just set those up. Also, so many of the refrigerators are not used. None of the items in them are opened. Everything is full. Very unrealistic.

If 50 cent forcloses it will most certainly hurt his reputation as an artist and hurt his credit rating which could impede his ability to purchase a new other house.

The house has not been purchase as of yet because its one of my blessings of being a child of God ( a believer on Jesus Christ). Dont worry I will be relieving 50 of the house real soon.
