Remember all the heat L’Oreal and Beyonce were getting for her ad which clearly lightened up her skin? Well now they have come out with a new Beyonce ad that shows her in a much more “natural” tone. Well now to me that new one doesnt look like Beyonce either! I can see why they had to do the change though.
As someone in PR this looks like a nightmare to me. Clearly L’Oreal is trying to make good to the people but the first ad is on one spectrum and the new one is on the complete other side. Fact is neither one looks like the normal Beyonce that we see every day.
Didn’t Beyonce used to be black?? I hope she hasn’t caught Michael Jackson Syndrome.
Oh she’s still black. Since she is in the tabloids every day you can see her skin is just fine. It’s the magic of photoshop on these ads!
