Toy company Playmates has the toy rights to the upcoming Terminator: Salvation movie. So what does that mean for hip-hop fans? For the ladies it means now you can finally take Common home with you. As many of you know, Common has a role in the movie as Barnes, freedom fighter alongside John Connor, fighting the evil forces of Sky Net.
Since he has a pretty major role in the movie, Playmates has created a fully posable Barnes (Common) action figure. Terminator Salvation comes to theaters May 22, 2009 and the action figures will be available via Corner Store Comics website. And yes, that is Common in the shades and beard. Check out the trailer here as well.

I’m down with Common AND Terminator but I just wish these were made a little better. They look kinda cheap to me.
I cant wait for this movie but yea considering how great action figures look these days (McFarlene toys??) they could have made this MUCH better. Still props to Common for getting an action figure

Well how many rappers CAN say they got an action figure?
It’s an action figure – ease up on the criticism. My kid bro would dig this entire collection.
