People we really need to get this movie made the right way i agree keke palmer was the only good casting decision and we really need a good director to do this.Maybe it didnt get made for a reason when the story is told its has to be done right because this is hip hop at its best!!!!!

Being from the oldschool myself ,I was really look’n forward to c’n this movie. I really believe it have done well. Alot of people really wanted to c KeKe Palmer, play Roxanne Shante. This would have been a big attraction 2 the movie, c’n that Roxanne Shante was truly the baddest around. I was also look’n forward 2 the soundtrack of all their oldschool hit raps. I believe it really would have done well too. I hope they find a way to raise the funds for this movie, for this is a story, that must b told.

Big budget movies with huge production backing and hollywood support can't get made right now so this is no surprise. I just hope they dont sell this movie short. They need to go back and do this right with some funding. I agree with everyone that this can make for an intriguing movie.

Yup I was supposed to be in the movie too. Small roll but it was discussed. Then I never heard back and heard the same thing that the money never came in. By the time this gets the go ahead I'll probably be too old for the role. Oh well.

This is sad and god, because now you can get D Nice to do his real hip hop story treatment on certain songs to get the buzz going for the movie, 50 cent is from Queens, he has the film projects, he needs to green light the movie, don't LL have like a 9 picture deal, besides the stinker with the cops and the video store with Mikah a few years ago, nothing has come of that, he is still owed some deals, this would be perfect, how much would it take to make the movie, the guy with the site that solicit from the pubic was not a bad idea, you can take that for music, films, and companies, you put in money and get a percentage back, not bad, 1 million people put up 5 dollars, that is 5 million, not good for a movie, but great for a new record label to get off the ground, a lot fo share holders, butt them same people can than buy the music, it becomes Platinum in a short period of time, gets more buzz, they get 3 people to buy it, now it is at 4 million, more buzz, become a world sensation and you already made some money on the album, it could work, well that is how they do it with stocks
