Forget RocaWear, J Hotels or those tricky 360 deals, Jay-Z knows where the true money is in…art. In fact, Jay-Z has so much high-priced art and such an appreciation for it that he has plans to open his own art gallery after his retirement from music. According to Mirrors UK, since Jay and Beyonce have been together they both have become avid art buyers. Jay told The Mirror:
“Bey is really into art and now I am too. I’m building a collection but at the moment I am just buying things I like and seeing where it takes me. I have a lot of pieces from Damien Hirst and Richard Price – they are incredible artists. Damien Hirst’s Beat Life, Cheat Death piece was actually inspired by one of my songs, so that was cool.”
And what does Jay-Z plan to do with all of his art? He added that when it’s time to put music behind him that he would consider opening a full art gallery. “When I finally hang up the microphone I could even exhibit my own collection.” Now that would be one art exhibit opening that no one would want to miss.

Not to self, concentrate on one venture. But I can see that he's a truly an entrepreneur. That's what fame will do for you. It's makes you look highly intelligent.
At least he has the gumption to have a good retirement plan, compared to other rappers that's living the fast lane with no back up plan.
