Video: Lil Wayne’s Gatorade “G” commercial
You might have seen this ad running if you have been watching college football the past couple of days. We can confirm that this subtle “G” TV ad featuring various pro athletes, and even the JabbaWockeez, is indeed the kick-off to Gatorade’s new branding campaign. It is also confirmed that Lil Wayne is the narrator of this ad as Gatorade will push their new branding with an emphasis on “attitude,” “hustle” and choice.
As a result, Gatorade will do away with the Gatorade - Thirst Quencher tag line and revamp it simply as Gatorade G. The company lists the reason for the rebranding:
Hopefully that clears up any confusion as to what this ad is all about. A genius marketing campaign for Gatorade? Is having Wayne as the new voice of G a smart thing? Vote it on the Trendz Report.

Yea that lil kid is random ass. Great look for JabbaWockeez though. Whole thing with them, Wayne, the whole “G” thing seems very forced though. No mid-west House wife is gonna understand all this rebranding for their soccer kid. Trying to hard Gatorade. Fall back!

This the lamest excuse for an ad campaign I have ever seen. Whoever came up with it shouldn't be fired, they should be drawn and quartered. It's Gatorade. Just a further example of how Pepsico is run by retards.

I ha ve seen poor marketing programs in my life, but this one takes the taco. It appears that Pepsico seems to have misjudged who was buying their product, and why. I have no intention of supporting this new “G” thug mentality product.
They also appear to have killed off the gatorade “AM” product which was a great alternative to high acid morning drinks. So good luck “G”…hope you have great luck with the group you are counting on buying your product….Personally,I think you screwed the pooch.
