Snoop Dogg x Skullcandy. If Dre can do it. Then Snoop can do. Fresh off Monster Cable’s partnership with Dr. Dre for his Beats by Dre headphones, Snoop Dogg has just announced a partnership with music accessory company Skullcandy. According to Billboard, the deal calls for Snoop to release his own branded line of headphones under the Skullcandy name where he will also support the company with tradeshow appearances and promotional opportunities. The question will be who’s got the better headphones? Snoop or Dre?
Beastie Boys resident DJ Mix Master Mike also signed his own deal with Skullcandy for a line of headphones as well. He will appear alongside Snoop in upcoming promo appearances. Both will headline this years Snowsports Industries America show in Las Vegas. The show will take place on January 28th at 10 p.m. at Club Rain at the Palms Hotel & Casino.

Im down with both dre and snoop but dre has monster cable while snoop has skullcandy so its not close in terms of quality.
@JJ but I dont think tehy are the same consumer. No one buying monster cable (over priced and over hyped) is going to buy a headphone called skullcandies. So they each have their own place in the market.
Monster is a ripoff. Skullcandy is garbage.
Look at Grado SR80 units if you want a nice pair. They’re $100 approximately, but they blow away Bose and Sennheiser sets at four to six times the cost. I guess since this is Woooha, you’ll want to check out the SR125. You get more bass out of it.
my sister has had two pairs of skullcandies and i have to agree with alfle80 these are aimed at a different market than the dre headphones whichh are usually bought by people wanting to signify that they are producers are heavily into music.
Kanye will come out with fuzzy pink ones next.
Skullcandies are what they are. Not that great for quality but they do the job. And I agree with M@ that monster is a complete rip off.
