Dr. Dre x Monster. It’s no secret that LeBron is a fan of hip-hop. Jay-Z has been actively recruiting LeBron in hopes of bringing him to the New Jersey Nets (where Jay is part owner), and LeBron has also become the unofficial NBA spokesperson for Dr. Dre’s headphone line Beats by Dre which is a partnership with audio company Monster.
LeBron gave his entire Cavs team custom Beats by Dre headphones with Cavs colors for Christmas last year, and also insisted in his latest NBA TV ad that he wear Beats by Dre during filming. The ad has been on the air since the beginning of this NBA season but LeBron continues to do his part by wearing the headphones in as many photo opps as possible.
Yeti says: When you have the reputation of Dre, it’s easy to get the entire hip-hop industry behind you. Monster has been aggressively marketing to the music industry with custom versions to artists and pushing to other lifestyle outlets like the NBA. Only thing is the $300+ price tag is a little steep for the casual music listener who isn’t a millionaire during these tough times…but now Monster has released the “Tour” edition at a lower price-point. Dre hopes to use his reputation to push his upcoming sparkling vodka line as well.

Good for LeBron, but these are overpriced pieces of junk. Monster has a good name but they're nothing special. Save yourselves some cash and pick up a pair of Grados. A third the cost and they blow Bose and Sennheiser out of the water.
except grados are ugly as hell
$300??? They come with an autographed jersey???
