MC Hammer x A&E. Yup another broke rapper has secured a reality show. This time MC Hammer will be taking his parachute pants to the small screen as he just signed a deal with A&E for a reality show called “Hammertime.” The show will follow Stanley Burrell (Hammer’s real name) who is an ordained minister, his wife of more than 23 years, and the couple‚Äôs seven kids. “Hammertime” is currently in production in Oakland, California and is set to air later this year.
In the meantime, Hammer can be see in the now infamous Cash4Gold commercial and pushing his website Dancejam. “MC Hammer is an iconic figure in American pop culture, but many people only know him for his music and fashion sense. Now A&E takes an unprecedented look behind his larger-than-life personality and into his life as a devoted husband, father and business entrepreneur,” said Robert Sharenow, senior vp alternative at A&E.

This makes me say OH MY LORD THANK YOU FOR BLESSING ME!

Juan – you are right…Hammer is actually a stand up guy and has been doing his thing to reach out to fans and such. Plus…he aint broke after this A&E deal! I hear you though…
So now he wont need to sell his gold hammer pants YAY!@
