The Roots’ new “Late Night” set pics

The Roots x Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon. NBC has just sent us over this first official pic of where the The Roots will be calling home for the next couple of years as the houseband for “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Jimmy and the band have been practicing their timing for the past couple of weeks and have now started to actually practice live on the new set. As you can see from the pic, The Roots will get a nice double-decker set to play on w/ ?uestlove taking center stage on the drums. The first show kicks off on March 2nd.

New pics of Beyonce in movie “Obsessed”

Beyonce x Obsessed. Beyonce did her thing on stage last night at the Academy Awards and continues to transition to the movie world. Here are some brand new images of B from her next movie, the upcoming thriller Obsessed which is basically Ali Larter vs. Beyonce. Awesome. Movie comes out on April 24th and also stars Idris Elba. Soulja Boy sets exclusive deal with Cricket Wireless

Soulja Boy x Cricket Wireless Mobile. Soulja Boy might not get much love with the hip-hop community but he sure knows how to strike a business deal, and more important, strike while the proverbial iron is hot. He already has a shoe deal in place with Yums and an Xbox 360 game deal and now he officially has a wireless mobile deal in place with new company Cricket Wireless.

Jermaine Dupri launches Pop Watch collection

Jermaine Dupri x Pop Watch. JD has been keeping busy since leaving Def Jam. And what has he been busy with? His new watch collection called Pop Watch. Jermaine has been teasing fans of his blog with pics of the watches for the past week but he just officially launched the watch collection at the MAGIC trade show.

According to the official press release, the watches will range from $120 to $290 and will be available online and in department stores in the near future. JD has a huge investment stake in the company as his deal is much more than just for endorsements. He has personally been working with jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad for over a year in perfecting the designs and will be promoting Pop Watches extensively this year.

Snoop Dogg previews his Skull Candy headphones

Snoop Dogg x Skull Candy. Snoop and headphone company Skull Candy announed a joint partnership back in early January. As part of the deal, Snoop would promote the Skull Candy brand in concerts and appearances and he in turn would get his own headphone line due out this Spring. Here is a video of Snoop’s first Skull Candy concert appearance where you can get a glimpse of the headphones that he will be rolling out. You can be sure he will be pushing it on all fronts so get ready to see Skull Candy on MTV as well.
