50 Cent wants to get into comedy films

50 Cent x Cheetah Vision. More tips coming in from my studio contacts. Word now is that 50 Cent is currently on the prowl for comedy scripts to produce under his Cheetah Vision film production company. Curtis is no stranger to action and drama flicks but comedy is a whole new ball game. Our tips were validated when Drew Reports reported that 50 wants to team up with actors Martin Lawrence and Sean William Scott for a comedy movie. There is no stopping 50 but a comedy? Maybe that’s what all those wigs and role playing in them Rick Ross videos is preparing him for.

Nelly pitching TV show to networks

Nelly x Nelly’s Night In Vegas. Word around here in Hollywood is that Nelly is making his rounds to the major TV networks pitching a variety TV show called “Nelly’s Night in Vegas.” Fresh off of Snoop’s TV deal with MTV and MC Hammer’s deal with A&E, Nelly is looking to cash in on the trend.

According to Variety, the show would be about Nelly interacting with celebs and performing various skits. Nelly officially stated:

“I was thinking about what was missing on TV, and when this idea came about, it made sense for me. We do have talkshows, but no one’s speaking from the pop culture perspective. Let’s get a little more pop, a little more edge, a little bit younger, and not look like you’re sitting in the principal’s office. As a performer, that’s the type of show you look forward to going on.”

The show has some big time producers attached including the producer of “The Daily Show” and “The Biggest Loser” so studios are listening. As always, we’ll keep you updated once we hear a deal is in place. There are a couple more rappers out here still shopping their shows around too so expect to hear some noise soon!

T.I. & Kanye named GQ’s 10 Most Stylish Men

T.I. & Kanye x G.Q. The way Kanye has been going these days this is just more to add to his ego. Regardless, both T.I. and Mr. West have just been announced on this year’s list of GQ’s 10 Most Stylish Men. They join a list that includes Justin Timberlake, Mark Ronson and a bunch or rich old white dudes.

Aside from looking pretty (Kanye more than T.I.), both artists have gotten into fashion design as well. T.I. launched his AKOO clothing line earlier this year and Kanye is putting the finishing touches on his long awaited Pastelle clothing line…but has been distracted by “other things” lately.
