Indie film production company Asch Entertainment has just confirmed that Q-Tip has been cast to play Ephraim, an Ethiopian drug dealer who traffiks ecstasy into the U.S. Movie is based on true events about a Hasidic Jew named Sam Gold, from an Orthodox Brooklyn community who gets lured into the world of ecstasy drug trafficking by a friend.

Apparently in the 1990′s Hasidim were recruited as mules to smuggle drugs into the United States. Hmmm you learn something new every day. Holy Rollers is currently filming in various locations across New York City.
