We try and stay out of the hip-hop drama and gossip and leave that to the experts but once it involves business, then WoooHa steps in. So as the world knows, Chris Brown is going down for giving Rihanna an alleged beating before the Grammy’s. True, Chris could face 10 years in jail, and has to deal with instantly losing millions of female fans…but now here comes the endorsement fall out as well.

The Wrigley company, owners of Doublemint Gum, sent us over their official stance on the latest Chris Brown events and have announced they are pulling all of his Doublemint Gum ads (shown below) from national TV.  The statement reads:

“We have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”

Maybe CB can take some advice from Michael Phelps on how to deal with the endorsement fall out. Although Wrigley is not officially stating they are dropping Chris Brown entirely, this is just the beginning. Once one major sponsor reacts, the rest are quick to follow suit and the loss of millions.

Chris Brown also endorses a dance video game called U-Dance, has a partnership with New Era hats and a steady movie career which are all now in jeopardy. This is not going to be pretty. No major company is going to want to work with an alleged Rihanna beater. More to come.
