TLC’s Chilli is new Dasani Water spokesperson

Chilli x Dasani. Dayam looks like Dasani is doing Chilli’s body good. The former TLC member is part of a threeway partnership deal between Dasani Water, L’Oreal and Chilli. The ad campaign is geared around Dasani’s push to gain marketing share with active females. I guess that means I should stop drinking Dasani in public.

Diddy launches interactive “Last Train to Paris” iPhone app

Diddy x iPhone. I swear, Diddy should get an award for his marketing abilities with the internet and today’s technology. That guy is a master at the Twitter game much like I am the master of NBA 2K9 on the PS3. Well now Diddy is jumping on the iPhone app tactic to push his upcoming album “Last Train to Paris.”

The app is pretty simple. You just take a photo of yourself, write a quick message on the app and send it. Your photo and message then becomes part of a bigger train collage where you can view other people’s photos and messages. Alright! LET’S GO PEOPLE!!! (the twitter fam will get it). Props to Clyde for heads up. He always brings the heat.

Jim Jones’ shows off Louis Vuitton recording studio

Jim Jones x Louis Vuitton. I’m pretty sure Jim Jones’ new recording studio that is completley decked out in Louis Vuitton print is not officially endorsed by LV corporate. In fact it looks more like a bunch of Boy Scouts put the studio together for an Eagle Scout project. Check the video and you will see what I’m talking about.

50 Cent takes new movie role; but why did he reject “Expendables”?

50 Cent x Twelve. 50 Cent Curtis Jackson has signed on for a role in the upcoming movie Twelve which will be directed by Joel Schumacher and is about a high school dropout-turned-drug dealer. Schumacher is most known for giving Batman nipples on the bat suit when he directed Batman & Robin back in 1997. Question is why did Curtis accept this role if he allegedly turned down the big action flick Expendables with Sly Stallone?

50 stated he wanted to concentrate on his music…yet he turns down a blockbuster action film for Batman with nipples? Something doesn’t add up here. Oh but WoooHa has the answers. Here is the real reason 50 was dropped from Expendables.

Sir Mix A Lot’s “SpongeBob Got Back” Burger King commercial

Sir Mix A Lot x Burger King. Burger King just started airing their new “SpongeBob Got Back” commercial which is set to Sir Mix A Lot’s “Baby Got Back” and features a quick cameo of the Sir himself. Ironically, the commercial is promoting the Burger King kid’s meal.

So now your kids can sing along to “I wanna get you home / And ugh, double-up, ugh, ugh…” Good to see Sir Mix A Lot back in the public though. He deserves more than performing at Indian Casinos.

Air Yeezy: Beyond the Hype video

Kanye West x Nike Air Yeezy. This is kinda like a documentary that chronicles the adventures of a Air Yeezy sneaker head. I was going to start making fun of the people in this video who waited overnight to buy the sneakers until I remembered I waited 3 hours in the rain to watch Star Wars: The Phantom Menace on opening night.

These people are actually cooler…they left with a nice pair of kicks…all I left with was Jar Jar Binks annoying voice in my head.

Lil Jon endorses Famous Stars & Straps clothing line

Lil Jon x Famous Stars & Straps. Lil Jon gives his unconditional love to Travis Barker’s clothing line Famous Stars & Straps. This is the same line that released the oh so cool ghetto blaster. Famous SAS has always towed the line with attracting the rock and rap clientele but it looks like their recent push is to definitely get more of the urban clothing line market share. Via: The Rap Up

Rick Ross’ “Deeper Than Rap” movie trailer

Rick Ross x Deeper Than Rap. So the big boss is trying to get into the movie business now and has fronted the money for his own mini-movie. Here is the trailer. It kind of reminds me of those videos you have to do in high school Spanish class…except there are drugs and guns in this video…and they are speaking English.
