Eminem x The Punisher comic book now out

Eminem x The Punisher. Slim Shady is pulling out all the stops with his recent marketing campaign. In a first, Slim is collaborating with Marvel Comics’ “Punisher” comic as an actual comic book character. Highbrid Nation had the details with part one of the comic available yesterday in issues of XXL Magazine and part two available at the official Marvel x Eminem site as a digital comic.

Official synopsis as follows: Who’s killing whom? With Punisher, Slim Shady and Barracuda all armed to the teeth and gunning for each other, expect plenty of bullets, blood and betrayals in PUNISHER/EMINEM: KILL YOU by Fred Van Lente and Salvador Larroca.

Could this be the first of many hip-hop and comic book collabs? Wu-Tang and the Avengers? Wolverine and Busta Rhymes? Kanye West and Cat Woman? The possibilities are endless.

The Eminem iPhone app is brutal

Eminem x Apple. Eminem’s marketing team should get some awards for everything they are doing for “Relapse.” First the Marvel promotion and now this full blown iPhone game. Slim released this screen shot of the game on his Twitter account. No details yet on costs or release date. From the pic it does look like you play Eminem and beat the crap outta zombie doctors.

Kanye West wants to launch own shoe company

Kanye’s shoe collabs with Louis Vuitton and Nike have both received tons of hype and press this year but apparently Kanye still is not satisfied. Infact, he is sounding a bit disgruntled at the fact that both Nike and LV will not give him a deal to launch an entire shoe line under Kanye’s own label. He recently told Complex:

“I wish Nike would give me a deal, I wish Louis would give me a deal. Since that hasn’t happened yet, I am in the process of making my own company from scratch to put out to my people.”

Is Kanye talking about his much-anticipated Pastelle clothing line? That clothing line has been more elusive than Bigfoot and the Lochness Monster combined but maybe it will now have a footwear component to it. Who knows but Kanye clearly is working on something. Get your kicks here.

T-Pain to star in live-action “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”

T-Pain x Aqua Teen Hunger Force. T-Pain will play the infamous Frylock in the live-action season finale of Adult Swim’s “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.” This will be the first time that the animated show will go live action and T-Pain gets the honor of playing the wise-cracking box of french fries by adorning a french-fry yellow top hat. Entertainment Weekly dropped the story:

“Pain is a huge fan of the show (he often wears an Ignignokt pendant around his neck and actually did the voice for the ‘Die’ ventriloquist dummy for the ‘Dummy Love’ episode) so he was more than happy to wear his signature stovepipe hat in french-fry yellow for the part.”

This should be one really interesting episode. Check it out on Adult Swim May 31st. Via: Highbrid Nation
