Lil Kim to write tell-all book about prison life

Lil Kim x The Price of Loyalty. Now that Kim is done with “Dancing With the Stars” she already is set for her next venture, a tell-all book about life in prison called “The Price of Loyalty.” Kim states:

“It’s about the time when I stayed in prison, the things I learned and went through. You don’t think about things until it happens to you. The book is going to give people who have been in those situations a bright outlook on life.”

Kim spent an entire 10 months locked down for a NY shooting. Is that enough time in the pen to really write a book about? I mean I have used Twitter longer than she was in jail. No word yet on when the book will hit stores yet.

Dwele x McDonalds. McDonalds is spending over $100 million in TV, online, print and outdoor advertising to push their new McCafe coffees. It’s one of the most aggressive campaigns in McDonalds history including some nice Urban targeted marketing using a TV spot featuring singer Dwele. Check it out. Cuz I got Highbrid Nation.

PICS: Scratch The Ultimate DJ turntable/controller

Here is a shot of the official controller/turntable to Scratch: The Ultimate DJ video game. The game is in direct competition with the upcoming DJ Hero (a look at their turntable/controller in comparison). In our opinion, Scratch’s turntable blows DJ Hero away. It has a crossfader, free-spinning, touch-sensitive turntable wheel and the true Numark name.

According to Kotaku, Scratch will be going directly after the hip-hop fan as they also have a track list of 52 songs including:

Flashing Lights – Kanye West
Let’s Get It Started ‚Äì The Black Eyed Peas
Peter Piper – Run DMC
Hot in Herre – Nelly
Milkshake – Kelis
Friends – Whodini
Party Like A Rockstar – Shop Boyz
Don’t Sweat the Technique ‚Äì Eric B. and Rakim

FRIDAY FACT: Kanye’s Pastelle.com site is 2,439 days old

Today’s FRIDAY FACT is all about Kanye West’s very elusive clothing line Pastelle. Did you know that the Pastelle.com website actually went live waaay back on Sept 3, 2002? Ok so it doesn’t make the site seven years old. It’s actually 2,439 days old which is equivalent to six years, four months and five days.

And how many times has it been updated in that time span? Twice. But still we are left with no clothing line. Come on Kanye! Quit trying to get in bed with Nike and LV and just launch your line already! How many bets on that by day 3,000 the site still will not be updated with actual clothing?

WORD ON THE STREET: Common still IS NOT Green Lantern

Word on the Street. No matter what you hear, WoooHa can confirm with sources directly at Warner Brothers studios that Common is not confirmed for the role as the Green Lantern in either Justice League: Mortal or the actual Green Lantern movie as well.

We broke news back in April that Common will not be cast in the upcoming Green Lantern movie as Warner Brothers has decided to use the original (non-African American) Green Lantern known as Hal Jordan. This makes sense since Hal really was the one who started it all for the Green Lantern franchise. But now new rumors are beginning to surface that Common will be starring in the upcoming resurrected Justice League: Mortal which hits theaters in 2011. These rumors are false according to an unnamed source at the studio.

We were told no casting has been locked for this film but Common was being considered years ago when the project was first brought to the studio. There you have it.

PICS: First pics of DJ Hero turntable/controller

Here is the first official pic of the upcoming DJ mixing game DJ Hero…from the people that brought you Guitar Hero. In the world of upcoming DJ video game battles I think Scratch: The Ultimate DJ might win just based on how mundane this DJ Hero controller looks.
