dangggg bro! I'm from da n.o myself and I was lookin foward to this movie man!!! How come they can't just use some of their money and buy the rights themselves! even if it don't come out of one persons pocket they should put some money together and put it on screen

I agree that Lil Wayne is an awesome artist, but singing and rapping skills don't always translate very well onto the big screen. As for the budget situation, Lil Wayne could use a little pocket change, make it rain for a summer and they'll give him the star role.

@Gabriel – Yea I know I take a lot of shots at 50. Truth is I actually respect his hustle and and how he has been able to build up his name as a brand…even extending that to film. I only take shots at him b/c his news is usually pretty current…
