I WANT THAT: Kanye West’s custom “Black-Out” Rolex

Kanye West x Rolex. Although Kanye does not have an endorsement deal with Rolex (at least one that is public), he has mentioned numerous times his love for the luxury watch brand as well for the custom watch designs of company Black-Out Concept. The company designed Kanye’s custom Rolex which is literally blacked-out.

“It looks hard, it looks really cool,” Kanye explained. “It’s a new take on a classic watch.” He also likes the fact that they take a Rolex and literally “paint it black.”

The watches run anywhere from $10,000 to $50,000. Check the official website out. Here are pics of Kanye’s designs.

PICS: More new pics of 50 Cent filming “Entourage”

50 Cent x Entourage. Most of you have seen 50 Cent’s photo on the set of HBO’s “Entourage” from 50′s official site. Not hating on ThisIs50.com but it’s amazing how we are able to find even more photos on the set than his own site is. Here are a couple of good ones…and yes…it’s confirmed the episode won’t air until August and it’s pretty minor from what insiders are telling me. Minor as in Kanye West “airport” appearance minor.

Microsoft releases limited edition Wale Zune player

Wale x Microsoft. Despite the fact that Zune continues to bleed money for Microsoft, the software giant can’t afford to let it go and continues to aggressively collaborate with the hip-hop community. The latest venture is Zune’s “On The Road WIth Wale” video shorts that we mentioned awhile back but now Zune has also released a limited edition Wale branded Zune player.

These players of course are not for sale but you can try your luck over at Eskay’s to win one now. But don’t worry…I’m sure Bill Gates has identified Drake as the next one to join the Zune army.

EXCLUSIVE: Lil Wayne movie “Hurricane Season” runs out of $$$

Lil Wayne x Bow Wow x Hurricane Season. I’m sure you Wayne fans remember this movie being filmed last year and Wayne hyping it up to MTV and the press. Movie is based on the true story of a Post-Hurricane Katrina high school basketball team made up from five different schools and the coach that led them to the state championships.¬†Bow Wow plays Gary, a 5 ft. 7 guard for the team and Weezy plays a high school punk named Lamont who bets against his own high school. Heck we even dropped the first exclusive pics of Bow Wow from the movie way back in the day.

Well now we got more exclusive news for you. Our sources here in Hollywood are telling us that the studio that owns the marketing and distribution rights to Hurricane Season¬†literally has run out of money and will not be able to release it anytime soon. The studio is the Weinstein Company, and it all makes sense since it’s very public knowledge that they are going through big-time financial issues. Hurricane Season finished filming in mid 2008 and was set for a late 2008/early 2009 release date. Instead, it has been pushed back indefinitely.¬†

So what does this all mean? Well you won’t be seeing Wayne playing a high school kid or Bow Wow playing a basketball player anytime soon. Either that or the producers try and buy back the rights so they can sell them to another studio….or it ends up going straight-to-DVD 50 Cent style.¬†
