It was only a matter of time before we saw something like this. Apparently the site DeathofAuto-Tune.com just launched and it’s all about reasons why Auto-Tune should be killed from hip-hop. I love it. Time to get back to some original beats, sounds and real music if you ask me. Check out the site…it’s pretty funny. For example:

Except Drake. That guy’s Falsetto makes them ladies’ cakes swoon. But seriously folks. Kanye is good at two things. Let’s take a look:

I do not see “Singing” on the list above. Therefore he should not sing. Yet Auto-Tune suddenly gives every rapper the chance to live out their dreams as the next incarnation of Shai and Jodeci. And Diddy? No we don’t want to take the last train to Paris if that means the last train has Diddy on it singing on Auto-Tune. Unless that train has Cassie naked on it. Then maybe it will be worth listening to Diddy.

It was just announced that he has teamed up with famed photographer Zach Wolfe to create a series of exclusive items for streetwear stores Standard. Jay-z x Eminem x DJ Hero. The publicity efforts heat up for the upcoming Activision game which is due to release end of this summer. In this clip Jay-Z and Eminem discuss their collaboration and work with DJ Hero at the 3:16 mark. HipHop Blog Hero: Rap Radar

So we got DJ Hero, Scratch The Ultimate DJ and now Def Jam enters the interactive hip-hop music gaming set with Def Jam Rapstar. Unlike the first two games where the user gets to play a DJ, in Rapstar you are…well…the rap star.

It’s basically a glorified rap karaoke game officially endorsed by Def Jam and their roster of artists. Here is the first official trailer featuring the music of Young Jeezy followed by an insider look at the game by one of the developers.

Pharrell x Ice Cream / BBC. Pharrell recently spoke with Complex Magazine and gave them a sneak preview at the new Ice Cream / BBC Fall 2009 collection. Unfortunately he did not give any more details about the upcoming Ice Cream TV show that we broke last week. Pharrell did mention that BBC will have a new theme called “Space Hunt” inspired by equestrian horse racing.

‚ÄúI really like the hunting aspect of the collection, we did t-shirts, blazers and bags of the ‚ÄòSpace Hunt‚Äô stuff” he told Complex.
