Cam’ron x The U.N. Cam‚Äôron has formed a new entertainment company called The U.N. which will include a film, music and DVD subdivision headed up by Omar ‚ÄúIceman‚Äù Sharif. According to AHH, it is Cam’s goal to turn The U.N. into a movement similar to the Dipset which means spinning off movies and direct-to-DVDs in an effort to further brand the name.
Cam talked about his upcoming film projects including a movie on notorious Harlem heroin dealer Guy Fischer, who sat on the notorious “Council,” an infamous New York crime syndicated.
‚ÄúWe got a movie coming out called The Bakery and then we‚Äôll drop the second installment of Killa Season,‚Äù Cam‚Äôron revealed. ‚ÄúWe‚Äôre also discussing the release of The Guy Fischer bio-pic.”
It will be interesting to see how Cam’s old fan base reacts to this new company and the films they put out. Will the support still be there like it was for Dipset? We will soon find out.

Kid Cudi x How To Make It In America. Cudi still has yet to release a major full-length album and he already has secured a lead role in a TV series. Cudi recently confirmed he will be starring in the new HBO series “How To Make It In America” to the Arizona Republic newspaper and stated the following:
‚ÄúIt’s called “How to Make It in America.” It’s produced by the guys that did Entourage. Mark Wahlberg is the executive producer. It’s directed by Julian Farino, who also did Sex and the City, several episodes of that and The Sopranos, and Entourage. I have a lead role. My character’s name is Domingo Dean. I actually named my character after both of my brothers – Dean, who lives in Phoenix, being one of them, and Domingo.‚Äù
The show will follow three twenty-something hopefuls in New York (Cudi being one of them) who is striving to live the American dream. Cudi was insistent though that his character in the show have nothing to do with music. The comedy was just announced with no production schedule or details as of yet. Props to Cudi for landing such a major role with little experience.

This really isn’t news to us folks at WoooHa since we were the first to break that the Juice Crew movie “The Vapors” planned two years ago had no financing to move forward. The situation now? Still the same as no one with the big Hollywood bucks is willing to risk the money to invest in the project.
Actress KeKe Palmer who was slated to play Roxanne Shante confirmed these reports with MTV News. “It’s been floating around for some time now,” KeKe said. “They don’t necessarily have the money to do it yet. But I would love for people to see me be a rapper, to play Roxanne Shant?© from the Juice Crew.”
So there you have it. We have some insiders working on this project so if it ever does get the financing to green light the movie…we will be the first to know.
