Big Sean x Under Armour. G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean has his latest track featured in Under Armour’s new ad which features Milwaukee Bucks bound rookie Brandon Jennings and his new Under Armour Prototype shoes. Jennings will be wearing these kicks all this year as part of his endorsement deal.

The upcoming Goodie Mob reunion show in Atlanta on Sept. 19th is such a big deal that they are even running local TV ads for it. Check the first one of four featuring Big Gipp.

In this spoof video Common plays the role of Ethan Hawke in Training Day while Christopher Mintz-Plasse (AKA McLovin) plays the role of badass Alonzo. No idea why this video was made but it’s pretty amusing. Common sure loves the spoof videos these days.

Ludacris x TAG Body Spray. Jermaine Dupri followed the consumer products money when he originally signed on to head up the collaboration between TAG Body Spray and Def Jam Records. Of course JD is no longer part of Def Jam but TAG Records and TAG Body Spray are still alive and kicking. In fact, Ludacris is the newest Def Jam member to join the TAG Body Spray family and has just introduced a new Body Spray line called “Get Yours.”

Luda is of course a long time Def Jam artist as well so the partnership goes hand in hand but make no mistake, he will not be on TAG Records. As part of the deal, Ludacris will promote TAG Body Spray and his “Get Yours” line with promotional appearances, advertising and the usual concert sponsorship opportunities. The revamped TAG Body Spray ad campaign has already launched and includes Carmelo Anthony and Rob Dydrek as fellow celebs with their own body spray line. Check the pics. In the meantime, Q Da Kid, the only official artist on TAG Records is still left hanging since Dupri left.

2 Turntables and a Microphone is a documentary surrounding the murder of Run-Dmc’s DJ, Jam Master Jay. After 7 years there has still been no arrest. The film features commentary from 50 Cent, Russell Simmons, Rev Run, Common, Ice T and others as they share their memories of the DJ and on the moment they recieved the shocking news of his death.¬† No release date on the film as of yet but it will be coming soon.

Spider Loc still might not have a major album release even after his past G-Unit West Coast affiliation, but while he’s still waiting for his rap game to go big-time, he’s doing his thing as a TV actor and found himself a nice niche here in Hollywood playing various gang member / criminal type roles in shows ranging from “Weeds” to “Cold Case” and “Numb3rs.” Loc now adds to his resume as he had a small role in the season finale of “Saving Grace” last night.

Although it was a short role, Spider Loc puts it in perspective and states “FYI ITS NOT A HUGE PART AS A MATTER OF FACT IF U BLINK U MITE MISS IT LOL BUT ITS CO-STAR BILLING WHICH MEANS EVERYTHING IN DA SAG WORLD FOR THOSE DAT MAY NOT UNDASTAND!!!!!!”

To put it in simple words, Spider Loc’s roles, while small, are still substantial enough for him to be a member of the Screen Actors Guild which means a good paycheck for those roles. Not bad at all.
