Lupe, lasers and teen vampires will all come together as Summit Entertainment will be releasing the long-awaited (by teen girls) sequel Twilight: New Moon. But now all the vampire loving fans will get a taste of Lupe Fiasco as well as his single “Solar Midnite” will be distributed as a bonus track to those who buy the full soundtrack on October 20th. This is a nice little way for Lupe to expand his fanbase since we are pretty sure many of those Hot Topic girls have no clue who Lupe Fiasco is. Via: BrokenCool

EA Sports uses Mixtape to promote NBA Live 10
If it worked for Lil Wayne then maybe it can work for NBA Live 10. Stuck in a heated battle with NBA 2K10, EA Sports is pulling out all the stops to market the upcoming release of NBA Live. Both titles go head to head when they hit stores at the same time next Tuesday. As part of their “urban” promotions, EA is releasing a mixtape by Mick Boogie which includes tracks from the game. You can start downloading songs from the mixtape at the official NBA Live 10 mixtape site leading all the way up to the release.

50 Cent’s book “The 50th Law” hits NY Times Best Seller list
50 Cent lands on top of the charts once again…just this time selling books and not albums. The New York Times just released their Best Sellers book list for the week and 50 Cent’s recently released “The 50th Law” has made the cut.
The book outlines 50′s strategic advice on how to become successful and was written with “48 Laws of Power” author Robert Green. Looks like all the promoting and TV appearances is paying off though as 50′s new book is currently #5 on the The New York Times’ “Advice, how-to and miscellaneous” bestsellers list.
Eve’s Fetish clothing line going out of business
Various online sources including TheYBF are stating that Eve’s relaunch of her Fetish clothing line are coming to an end due to “legal reasons.” WoooHa pulled our sources together and were only able to get the same reply and that Eve wanted to proceed with her fashion label but due to “unforseen legal reasons” the clothing line must be shut down. Yes we are happy we got a statement, no we don’t believe the statement.
Eve relaunched the label back in 2008 (the original Fetish launched in 2003) with distribution through online site Dr. Jays and Signature Apparel but due to the ill-timed release in conjunction with the economic recession, the clothing line failed to reach profitability despite a clean more sophisticated look. Online retailers will continue to sell existing Fetish inventory but the clothing line will no longer continue and operations will be shut down. More as we get it…but we doubt it’s legal reasons.
VIDEO: Birdman gives Lil Wayne $1 million Chopard watch for B-day
A case of the rich getting richer. For his 27th birthday Birdman gives Lil Wayne a $1,000,000 Chopard watch…AND…Birdman even tattoos Wayne’s birthday on his arm. Chopard only has a handful of these million dollar watches in existence as they are made of Ashoka Diamonds…which I assume are valuable. I guess if my friend made me millions and millions I might tattoo his name on my arm too. But I’d probably get him a G-Shock and call it a day. Check the vid…
