UPDATE: It just gets worse. Now we have the first look at the official title and logo for the film. This original art says Karate Kid which was going to be the name before all the 80′s fans had a fit and made Sony change it to Kung-Fu Kid. It still sucks though. Pics are now after the jump…

We were morally against this “modern day” Karate Kid from day one. How could they replace Ralph Macchio with Will Smith’s little kid and Pat Morita with Jackie Chan? A disgrace to one of the all-time classic films. But in case you are into sucky remake films here are a couple of first look pics from the set showing Chan training Jaden Smith. Despite his recent Taylor Swift incident, there is no denying that Kanye makes music that the masses and the media love. The annual BET Music Award nominations were just released and Kanye leads the pack with nine total nominations. The show will actually be in Atlanta this year and will air later on BET October 28th. You can be sure that Kanye will do SOMETHING at this awards show to try and upstage himself. Maybe interrupt 50 Cent to see if 50 would really punch him on stage. Many would love to see that. Yes things are slow today. New Line released the classic Friday on Blu-ray last week with very little hype. Unfortuntley they also messed with the original movie poster and tried to give it a different more modern look. What do you think? At least you can watch Smokey in hi-def now.

For once 50 Cent is pretty funny in a viral clip. Vitamin Water has just released this “infomercial” featuring 50 Cent and “Canadian celebrity” Steve Nash. In the vid, 50 talks about how he got paid from his Vitamin Water deal a couple of years back and how he “smells like the vault.” Enjoy.
