We were joking that 50 Cent would appear on the Home & Garden TV network next but now it looks like it could be a possibility. After his Weather Channel appearance 50 then hit up the “Rachel Ray Show” to do publicity for his “50th Law” book. Who knows what channel is next…maybe Animal Planet.

Michael Jordan’s Hall of Fame jacket designed by Diddy’s Sean John
Diddy’s Sean John sure knows how to get in with the big events. First they were in the bidding to design President Obama’s Inauguration Day tuxedo, but lost out to a Chicago-based company, but now they secured the second best thing….Michael Jordan flashing a Sean John designed Hall of Fame jacket during the official press conference. Yup, turns out Sean John won a huge “account” as they were the official designers of this year’s Hall of Fame jackets so all five of the inductees including Jordan, David Robinson, John Stockton, Jerry Sloan and Vivian Stringer wore the jackets. They have quite the presidential look if you ask me. Via: Sean John Blog
Abercrombie & Fitch sues Beyonce over “Fierce” fragrance deal
Apparently the recent news that Beyonce will be creating a fragrance line in a $20 million dollar deal is not happy news for all. Abercrombie & Fitch, the famed clothing line for frat boys across the country, announced that they are suing Beyonce because plans to release the fragrance line under her Sasha Fierce name will cause confusion with Abercrombie’s existing fragrance called “Fierce.” Billboard has the more professional verbiage:
In a federal lawsuit filed on Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio, Abercrombie claims a fragrance under the singer’s “Sasha Fierce” label “poses a likelihood of confusion” with the retailer’s own “Fierce” brand. It said such confusion could deprive it of control over a trademark it has used since 2002, and perhaps cost it sales. The lawsuit seeks to halt potential trademark infringement, unfair competition and deceptive trade practices.
Beyonce’s team, including Daddy Knowles, had no comment about the lawsuit. “Fierce” is a big part of Abercrombie’s tactics though as they even admit they spray all their clothes with it so people leave “smelling Fierce.” Lame. But maybe that’s better than leaving the store smelling like “Sasha Fierce.”

VIDEO: The making of Jay-Z’s “Blueprint 3″ cover
Nice to know everything is not Photochopped up these days. Here is a cool little piece on the making of Jay-Z’s album “The Blueprint III” which will be Jay’s 11th #1 album according to SoundScan. Those artists calling him old can only wish they could move a fraction of the units he does. Props to KissMyBlackAds for the video.
MUSIC: Ice Cube’s first song “Raider Nation” for upcoming film
As we reported earlier this month, Ice Cube is prepping a ESPN documentary on the Los Angeles Raiders including their influence in hip-hop called Straight Outta L.A. To get hype going, Cube just dropped the single “Raider Nation”…JaMarcus could have used the motivation. Maybe he would have completed more than 40% of his passes listening to this song.
