DJ Hero won’t even hit stores until the end of this month but Activision is so sure it will be a success that they are already recruiting DJs to jump on board for DJ Hero 2. In fact, Activision CEO Mike Griffiths thinks DJ Hero has the ability to outsell the hugely successful Guitar Hero.

“Outside of those 15 million household’s, there’s another 300 million that haven’t for one reason or another bought Guitar Hero yet. One of those reasons is we’re not reaching new genres and new music audiences in a way that DJ Hero allows us to accomplish,” stated Griffiths.

In order to develop updates to DJ Hero and new franchises, the company has already enlisted various game programmers to start working on DJ Hero 2 and is currently recruiting high profile DJs such as Q-Bert to join the DJ Hero family. Activision only has one thing left to do….sell over 15 million copies of DJ Hero. Via: GameIndustryBiz
