Xzibit x Extreme Home Makeover. X to the Z goes from hosting shows like MTV’s “Pimp My Ride” to hitting the mainstream as he will be hosting this Sunday’s episode of “Extreme Home Makeover.”

“It’s a whole different presentation. It’s a whole different seriousness, when you go about building a house in seven days. This is somewhere where people have to spend their lives at. So it’s a lot different than putting a chandelier or somethin’ in a car…it’s different programming, it’s a different network, it’s a different feel all the way around.“

So you mean putting a chandelier or a fish tanks or whatever other insane things they put in cars was not a good idea? We still want to see the show “Pimp My Ride: A Year Later” to see what happened to all those cars with the crazy stuff in them. X goes on to talk about expanding his fan base and awareness with TV….

Pharrell x Domeau & Peres. It really looks like there is nothing that Pharrell can’t do. Yesterday he appeared in a short film, and now he has just finished designing a bicycle. Yes…a bicycle. P has teamed up with Domeau & Peres, the same design house that he created these leg chairs with, for this highly exclusive fixed gear one-of-one bike.

The bike comes in all yellow with premium leather trim and is currently on  display at the W Lounge, a special space announcing the upcoming W Hotel Paris. Seems like there is nothing that Pharrell is not willing to create these days. Perhaps the music is just getting boring to him. More pics after the jump…

Alicia Keys x AK Worldwide. In this interview with the Associated Press, Alicia Keys talks strictly business as she announced the launch of her business company AK Worldwide (not to be mistaken with Prestige Worldwide…bonus points for those who know what I’m talkin bout). Under AK Worldwide Keys will be launching her own jewelry line called The Barber’s Daughters which includes inspiring messages engraved in each piece as shown below. The other part of AK Worldwide will be Keys’ first venture into the online space with the launch of IAMSUPERWOMAN.COM. The site will focus on bringing positive messages to the blogosphere.

“I felt there’s a missing piece in the blog world that allows you to have a really, inspiring positive experience. We don’t have to tear each other down to have a good time… It really calls out to all those brilliant,  amazing, fantastic women every day that are doing their thing and need kind of a community to support each other.”

The site will be launched December 1st with her next album. Pretty safe to say it’s going to be heavy on the whole “woman power” angle. With the launch of AK Worldwide though it’s clear Keys is thinking beyond the music and finally beginning to see establish herself as a brand. LL Cool J x NCIS: Los Angeles. It has been awhile since LL has had a hit single but at least he can now claim he has a hit TV show…and these days…that brings in A LOT more money than the music. LL’s show “NCIS: Los Angeles” has gone through three episodes now but is already CBS’ #1 program of the year drawing over 17 million viewers per episode.

CBS is rewarding the show by picking it up for a full season which ensures LL gets his hefty pay check for a bit longer. Given the success of the original “NCIS,” it looks like LL could be making CBS home for awhile.

RZA x Due Date. While RZA has been preparing for his feature film directing debut with the martial arts flick The Man With the Iron Fist, the Wu-Tang front man has slowly been building up his acting resume in the meantime. Impressed with his small but comedic role in Adam Sandler’s Funny People, RZA has now just been cast in the next Todd Phillips (director of The Hangover & Old School) comedy called Due Date.

He will be starring alongside Jaime Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. in “the story a guy with a mismatched travel companion who races home in hopes of arriving before his wife delivers their first child.” Word is that RZA’s role will be much larger than his previous ones like in American Gangster and Funny People.

Pharrell x The Ear. Meet Pharrell the producer, artist, fashion designer, furniture designer, candlestick maker and now actor. Pharrell stars in the short film The Ear directed by Yi Zhou with clothing provided by BBC Ice Cream of course. Via: Hypebeast
