Dr. Dre x Apple. Dre and Jobs. Now that’s a team that is going to be tough to beat. Dr. Dre’s Beats by Dre headphones are gaining a serious partner in Apple and their over 200 retail stores across the country. Apple will be selling and promoting the Beats by Dre headphones in their retail environment and online store stocking the exclusive white color version, the traditional black and the Monster Beats in-ear sets as well.
Meanwhile Jimmy Iovine has created himself a nice residual income from the Monster x Beats by Dre line and partnership with other Interscope artists including Lady Gaga’s Heart Beats line and Diddy’s upcoming Diddy Beats headphone line.
HP just got a little mad. Remember when HP did HP branded iPods and then they promptly fired their CEO? Apple now took a bite out of the exclusivity HP had with Dre.
Frustrates me since I dont think the Beats are even that great quality. Took one listen and I knew there are hundreds of models better that are half the price. Such is the way of the monster.
I just got the Beats by Dre Studio headphones from http://www.buybeatsbydre.com They were a little expensive; regardless i would have to say at first i was a little hesitant at first like the average consumer for even thinking to spend $200+ on a set of headphones. I can honestly say that the purchase was worth every dollar I spent and im an extreme penny pincher. Nowadays you get what you pay for, and when it comes to my music and gadgets i dont mind spending the extra cash.
