The achievement help Jay-Z pass Elvis Presley to become the second artist with more No.1 albums in the 50 year history of the Billboard 200. The second week of sales resulted in 301,000 copies being sold dominating the Billboard #1 spot for two weeks straight. 		<description>Great Read. Jay definitely put in a lot of work for this album. After all the hard work, I would of thought he sell a million in the first week especially since people hold him to that &quot;icon&quot; status. But regardless his marketing campaign was brilliant and the album was superb.</description>

		<description>The sad thing is all the effort it takes now to move 300,000 units. Jay didnt need to do half of that marketing effort back in the day to sell a milli. Music is tough now but Jay can still bring the heat. Nice info.</description>
