Beyonce x Wynn. You know Vegas is hurting when your in-box is bombarded with hotel deals practically giving away free nights, free shows, buffets, etc. But that’s not stopping billionaire Steve Wynn and his Wynn Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. We recently received official news that the Wynn is aggressively trying to sign Beyonce to a long term performance deal. Wynn Resorts spokeswoman Jennifer Dunne says there’s no deal yet, despite published rumors of a lucrative, long-term contract.
Beyonce appeared at the Wynn for a series of shows this year while filming a concert DVD. Her shows helped lift revenues and traffic at the resort which is exactly why they are trying to lock her in for a long term deal. I guess since Celine Dione is gone, Vegas is due for another Diva to rule the City of Sin.
That’s normally a sign that you can’t draw the crowd elsewhere but are still a great performer. I don’t think she should do Vegas only, not for another 10 years.
Veags is for has beens. Celine did it for a multi-million dollar deal but it ruined her in regards to having any sense of coolness. B is too cool for school to do this. I hope.
