B.o.B. x ESPN. B.o.B. might not be a household name…yet…but he sure has landed some major promotional deals this year that has given him million of dollars worth of media exposure. First he was part of Nintendo’s DS ad campaign, and now he is one of ESPN’s main hype men for their Bowl Week promotional campaign. Look for 2010 to be a big year for B.o.B. not just with his promo activity but more important, with his music.

Kid Milli x Rapstar. Def Jam gives Kid Milli the spotlight in their new Def Jam Rapstar video game ad as he freestyles on the streets of China Town. Check the full teaser trailer out as well.

Lupe Fiasco x Nike. Every artist we know wants to lock in any type of deal with Nike in hopes of the high profile promotions and advertising…and the free shoes. Check Lupe Fiasco as the reindeer and KRS-One as Santa in Nike’s latest MVPuppet ad campaign. Lupe is also currently featured in Hewlett Packard’s Summit on Summit ad campaign.

What has Kelis been doing with all of Nas’ money since the split up? Cooking. No, mixing them milk shakes does not count as cooking. Kelis has actually been training in London at the renowned culinary academy, Le Cordon Bleu and is now a certified saucier. She plans to take her new skills to the next level by launching a food sauce company.

“I want to have my own sauce line. I love the lifestyle of a great meal. I think food, fashion and music all go together when it’s done right.  I also want to get my sommelier certification, which I’m going to do eventually. I love the whole thing. I want to go back to school, too.”

As of now, her sauce and cooking business is just in the development stages but it’s nice to know that Kelis is doing something productive with her time. Via: HighbridNation

Lil Wayne’s rock album Rebirth has already been mired in controversy including Amazon.com’s unintentional leak of the Feb. 1st 2010 release. With that said, Young Money is moving forward in promoting the album which includes this new TV ad spot.
