Timbaland x WWE Raw. Here is Timbaland’s appearance on WWE Raw where he continues to push his album Shock Value II. More of these integrated promotions between artists and original content programming continue as labels find alternatives to promote vs. hard media dollars. Question is though how effective are these promotions? Are WWE fans really the right demo who would buy Tim’s album to begin with? Via: Mr. World Premiere

I should write an article on this, but remember when artist would make guest appearances on tv shows? I remember dmx, usher, made some appearances on brandy’s show “Moesha”…50 cent, Saigon, made appearances on “Entourage”, Genuwine made appearance on “half and half”. I think those shows demographics where better, me personally I don’t watch WWE for the simple fact that there are no more hulk hogans, stone cold steve austins, goldbergs, ultimate warriors and so on WWE fell off!…
WWE demo benefits gamer’s not music artist..snoop dogg promoted his album on wwe and didn’t even go over 100k…
Music execs needs to get it right in 2010..
I would give ideas on what music labels need to do but I would need to receive a check instead
I like the concept and even though WWE fans might not all be TIm fans at least he is increasing his awareness of who he is.
Timbaland bores me. His album sucks too. Luckily I had a burned copy and didnt pay for it either. That would really have sucked!!
Id say yes and no, but like john said at least he is increasing awaerness
