MOVIE TRAILER: “Legion” (w/ music from Dirty Money)

Dirty Money x Legion. The latest trailer for the upcoming action flick Legion was just released and in a nice little bonus for Diddy, Dirty Money’s “Angels” remix is used throughout. Considering the movie is about an Archangel sent by God to prevent the Apocalypse, “Angels” is somewhat of a fitting song. Legion hits theaters January 22nd.

MUSIC VIDEO: Jay-Z – “On To The Next One”

MUSIC VIDEO: Jay-Z – “On To The Next One”

Jay-Z’s new video “On To The Next One” is finally here with Swizz Beatz as a credited featured artist on the track. Seems like the new Jaguar XJ should get some “featured” credit as well since the video basically acts like a 4:15 long Jaguar commercial.

DJ Premier x Nike Air Force 1

DJ Premier x Nike.
Shoe collabs like this are more for bragging rights vs. a profit making business decision unless you have a full on deal like Jay-Z did back in the day with Reebok. Most of the time in these one-off collabs the artist does not make any money from sales of the kicks, which are usually limited edition to begin with, but instead it’s leveraged as a brand builder for the artist and of course to claim you got your own Nikes. Regardless, it’s still pretty nice and these Primo AF1′s are looking good.

PICS: The Lupe Fiasco toy doll

jc_lutoy
Lupe Fiasco will soon be available as a collectible vinyl toy doll under his Japanese Cartoon band name of Wasalu Jaco. This sneak preview snapshot of the doll is pretty dang realistic to the point I had to do a double-take to make sure it was a doll and not real-life Lupe shrunken down to fit on a table. No word yet on availability but you can be sure these will be in limited supply and high demand. Via: SlamxHype
