Twista in pre-production for reality show

Twista in pre-production for reality show

In a recent interview, veteran speed rapper Twista has revealed plans for a reality TV show. While the unnamed show is still only in pre-production phase, there still is a long road ahead before the show has a shot of making it on national TV. While Flava Flav, Bobby Brown, Salt N’ Pepa, Diddy, etc. make it seem like anyone can get their own show, countless other artists have produced and filmed their own reality shows but failed to get it picked up by any network.

“Right now I am producing my first reality show deal,” said Twista, who couldn’t reveal specifics on the deal because “it’s under wraps.”

As of now, this is all we got. So technically the reality show might not even be about him…ok who are we kidding. A rapper not doing a reality show about himself? Yea right. More word from Twista once he gives out more details.

Video is from Future Shop which all you Canadian WoooHa readers (all three of you) know as the Canada equivalent of Best Buy. Kanye West set to launch new blog

Screen shot 2010-01-10 at 11.02.01 PM
Kanye and his blogging posse have been a little slow on the posts lately. Now Mr. West finally explains why. Perhaps this time it will actually be him writing in it and not one of his many ghost-bloggers. No word yet on what his new blog plans are or where they will be hosted. Rest assured it won’t be at Pastelle.com because why would there EVER be content on that site?

First official pics of RZA’s “Victory or Death” painting

rza
RZA the artist (see here for RZA the film director) finally released his first official art piece entitled “Victory or Death” on New Years. The painting is limited to 360 prints in total, in two different collections — the Legacy and Monument series and are currently available for pre-order. Prints in the Legacy Series measure 40″ x 30″with a quantity of 300 while the more exclusive Monument Series is limited to 60 and measure 80′ x 60′.

“Victory or Death” is definitely something I need to get my hands on. The piece is RZA’s interpretation of Emanuel Leutze’s iconic painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware, with RZA replacing Washington, and the GZA and ODB as side kicks complete with soldiers in the back throwing up their “W’s”. Kinda tells you what RZA thinks of the other Wu members right now. I’m surprised he doesn’t show them as the Confederates. Can’t we all just get along? Do it for the Wu.

PICS: Diddy launches Monster Diddy Beats headphones

image
Diddy x Monster.
Monster and Interscope continue to expand the Beats brand as Diddy introduced his Diddy Beats headphones at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas. Beats already has the Beats by Dre and the Lady Gaga line as well. While Beats by Dre is the flagship model, the Diddy Beats are in-ear headphones, will retail for $179.95), are available in black or white and integrate Beats by Dr. Dre’s club-level bass and clarity.

“My mother played music for me as a child, and I grew up loving the way music made me feel. It brought out joy and pain. It was my first career, my first love,” Diddy stated at CES. “No matter how many roads I travel, my heart always takes me back there. Music is my life, and Diddy Beats is an expression of how great sound makes me feel.”

Diddy Beats comes in an exclusive Sean John-inspired travel case with Monster’s tangle-resistant ControlTalk headphone cable for use with iPhone and iPod. Look for it in stores soon. No doubt this Diddy Beats deal was used as collateral to get Diddy to sign on with Interscope.
