We all know 50 Cent is a true business man…and now the cheapness shrewdness of his financial decisions comes to light in this recent interview where he explains why female singers are bad for business. His point of view is a little one-sided since Olivia did not exactly turn out to be the next Rihanna but at the same time he makes some valid points. Spending $2 million on hair and makeup is legit and no joke either…. especially since it probably took $20 for the rest of the G-Unit to get ready for their photo shoots. Five 40 ozs. at $4 each.

*dead laughing about the last equation* I don’t think he was being cheap. He had some great points. I do recall an interview with Olivia bursting into tears because the electricity was off and she couldn’t get her hair done. It was REAL Hollywood. I actually had a debate with an “up-and-coming artist” who said she spends more on fashion than the average person on rent in a year. That’s f*@%ing awful. My rent is $775 per month. If someone is spending $9,300 on fashion, I honestly think they need to invest that money in cosmetology school so they can learn to do it themselves. When you’re genuinely talented, you can show up with the crotcheted hats (i.e., Common), the jeans and T-shirt (i.e., Lauryn Hill), the stacks and thrift store type blouse (i.e., Erykah Badu) or a simple dress from a random retail store FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA, stand up. When you’re raw, you’re raw.
