It’s no secret why neighborhoods with heavy urban demographics and populations are plagued by unhealthy eating patterns. You can’t go a block without seeing a McDonald’s and you can’t go a minute without seeing some new ridiculous McDonald’s marketing campaign targeting urban lifestyle. But McDonald’s recent promotion with the Sprite Step Off tour takes things to a new level as they sponsor the DJ Battle where DJs are forced to spin…on top of gigantic Quarter Pounder and Big Mac boxes. See it to believe it.

I get where you are going with this but isn’t it OUR choice to eat healthy or not? Ronald is not forcing us to go to that drive thru and get the double quarter lb, extra large fries and that sweet tea now is he? We should all be responsible for our own actions and what we eat.
Haha! I covered this in Houston last month. I was equally amused by the concept.

I dont think those DJs realize how lame they look up there sitting in a hamburger carton. I think its funny whoever thought of it and yea to the first commenter it is their choice so I dont see the big deal either.
That’s a dang shame how they did those DJs. I guess its an opportunity and the DJs had a choice. The bottom line is, if they weren’t standing in those Big Mac boxes, we wouldn’t be talking about it… So I guess it worked.
I’m surprised they didn’t spell it “flava” battle to be extra condescending.
Also its nice to see Mo’nique is getting work.
