Jay-Z x Skull Candy. Looks like the hip-hop headphone wars are starting to heat up. In one corner you have Jimmy, Dre, Diddy and the Monster crew pushing the premium Beats line and now in the other corner you got Jay-Z teaming up with Skull Candy for the new Roc Nation Aviator headphones at a respectable $150 price point.
Skull Candy is no stranger to hip-hop partnerships as Snoop Dogg currently has a line of headphones under their Skullcrusher line. Check the video where Cavi gives us an inside look at the Roc Nation headphones. Regardless of how they do…they look better than these Lil Wayne line “high performance” headphones.

This just means Kayne will be dropping his pink fur lined headphones any minute now too.
If I’m spending over $100 on headphones then at that point all I care about is quality and not who endorses it.
