JaRule x I’m In Love With a Church Girl. You know those movies and TV shows where the title pretty much explains the whole plot? Yea this is one of them. Kinda like “Lost.” What’s “Lost” you ask? People who are lost. What is I’m In Love With a Church Girl about? A dude (JaRule) who falls in love with a church girl. Nuff said.

Ok to thicken the plot, Ja plays a drug dealer who must decide between his old school thug life or a new life of love, romance and Adrienne Bailon who plays Ja’s love interest. With that said…we say go for the thug life. The movie is being produced by independent movie company Reverence Gospel Media and starts filming in Northern California in May.

Snoop Dogg x Motorola. As we reported earlier in the month, Snoop Dogg has partnered with Mr. Cartoon and Motorola for the new “Sanctioned” phone that comes pre-packaged with exclusive Snoop tracks. Now let Snoop tell you all about the phone in this new promo vid.

Duck Down Records has had a long-standing relationship with the publishers of the NBA 2K series and now they take it to the next level hosting a in-game music contest. Details on the ad right here but basically upcoming producers and MCs will have the chance to have their music featured in the upcoming NBA 2K11. Beyonce x Phoenix House. Phoenix House in Brooklyn, New York opens a new cosmetology school named in Beyonce’s honor. The school allows recovering addicts to rebuild their lives and embark on careers in the cosmetics industry. The R&B singer spent her time there while researching her role as she played former heroine addict Etta James in the 2008 film Cadillac Records. She later donated her salary she received from the film and developed an idea to add a cosmetology program for the women and men in treatment. Via: Concrete Loop

Kanye West x The Cleveland Show. Proving that he actually does have a sense of humor, Kanye West will be making a guest voice appearance on an upcoming episode of “The Cleveland Show.” According to EW, in the episode, Kanye voices a 19-year-old local hero named Kenny West, who gets into a freestyle battle with the show’s Cleveland Brown, Jr. over a young woman voiced by Taraji P. Henson.

The episode is set to air May 2nd on FOX. Let’s hope it’s as memorable as South Park’s “fish sticks” episode. One can only hope. Enjoy this first official pic of Kanye Kenny for now. Via: 2DopeBoyz
