Big Boi x Def Jam. Big Boi has officially jumped ship from his Jive Records deal and will be releasing his long awaited Sir Luscious Left Foot album on Def Jam Records. This reunites Big Boi with LA Reid who was the executive to first sign Big Boi under their group Outkast.Big Boi confirmed the deal via the very official Twitter statement.

“THE INK IS ON THE PAPER!!! “BREAKING NEWS!!!!” It’s OFFICIAL! BIG BOI signs SOLO album DEAL with DEF JAM!!!

Seems like the way things are going these days there are just going to be one or two major labels with legit hip-hop artists on their rosters. The album will no doubt be pushed back in order for it to get the proper release it deserves. Via: HHDX

Mos Def x Palm. Mos Def and Palm have teamed up for their new TV ad campaign using the single “Quite Dog Bite Hard” to push the new WebOS interface. Another attempt by Palm to re-position their products as hip and cool as their market share continues to diminish. Hopefully the Mighty Mos Def can save them. Via: SlangRap

Kid Cudi x Vitamin Water. Surprised they didn’t use a 50 Cent track on this one. Vitamin Water’s new TV ad campaign uses Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness” (Steve Aoki mix) to promote their new Power-C flavor.

Beyonce x Heat. It’s no secret why every celebrity around wants to get into the fragrance business…it’s big money IF it works. What you don’t hear about are the countless failed celeb fragrances though. In this case, Beyonce is no failure. According to Women’s World Daily, Beyonce’s Heat perfume (see TV ad) has already sold over $3 million worth of the stuff in just one month.

72,000 bottles alone were sold in a single hour during an in-person N.Y.C. appearance by the star once again proving her long-standing celebrity appeal. Beyonce continues to be one of the most successful and prominent product endorsers in music history. Some call it selling out…we call it MAKING THAT MONEY!

Diddy x Crystal Palace Eagles. Talk about diversifying your business portfolio. The Sun reports that Diddy is very serious about purchasing the Coca-Cola Championship League’s London Crystal Palace football team…football meaning soccer of course. Apparently the club is heavily in debt and Diddy has hopes of taking the team to the much higher profile Premiere League.

“Diddy was in London meeting football fixers a couple of weeks ago. The finance is in place, he’s just deciding who he thinks he’ll make a bid for.” stated an unnamed source. “He could cover their debt and bankroll a return to the Premier League. He liked the name as well.”

No doubt if this happens, The Crystal Palace Eagles will quickly turn into either the Crystal Palace Cirocs or the Crystal Palace Bad Boys. Either way, he just might be the guy to try and help make soccer..ahem…football…actually cool in the U.S. If Beckham couldn’t do it…Diddy can. Via: RR

Pharrell x Moncler. Taking a break from his body lotion bottle designing, Pharrell is all set to release his Moncler Fall/Winer 2010 collection. The collection had some sneak peeks here and there but now it’s finally all ready to go which consists of jackets and vests, all coming in the signature Moncler look.

The prints were a collaboration with Japanese artist Keita Sugiura and most of the line is made of Bionic Yarn, a new recycled fabric that Pharrell also happens to co-own. Check more pics after the jump. Via: BBC
