If you want to know how rapper turned actors like Ice Cube and Queen Latifah are able to make so much money in Hollywood it’s really quite simple…they have an active TV and film production company that develops projects not just for the artists themselves but for all types of programming. Cube has his Cubevision Productions and Latifah has her Flavor Unit Entertainment.
Adding more money to Latifah’s already large money pot, her production company has just signed a deal with BET to develop their first scripted TV show called “Let’s Stay Together” for the beginning of 2011 and the made-for-TV movie The Cookout 2. Latifah will not be starring in the show or the movie but will still be collecting the paychecks as exec producer. Now that is the ultimate businesswoman right there.

To whom this may concern, I would like to know were I could submit my daughters picture and resume. She is fairly new in the business, however she has done a few commercials, off broadway play, soap Opera. She is fifthteen yrs old. She write poetry, music, short stories etc.. As a single parent I manage to travel back and forth to NYC to get her back and forth to her audition. Recently I had the opportunity to meet the guys naughty by nature. I gave trence?? My daughters headshot and resume to give to the Queen. When they performed in Atlantic City N.J. Because this kid is a go getter, a triple threat. She does it all. Carson Kolker in nyc Send out Bria Chane’l on different audition. She recently audition for Ice cube are we there yet. Cube vision production On friday 10/8/2010. Hopefully she will get a call back for that. I just want her to get the opportunity to audition for the Queen, Tyler Perry, Ice Cube. this is what i am thinking and i hoping Queen latifah that you can exiqute this idea there are things out there are shows out there for models,singers, dancers but nothing for actors i realize that this is alittle more challenging but could some do something to allow our talented children who are actors to get the same break as the other arts i know if my daughter should get that one shot then people would be able to see how talented she is
I viewed the trailer and hope to see more. As a talented actress, I can definitely see myself complacent in this film for 2 very good reasons. I’ve read the character description of each role, and I would love to have the opportunity to add a little flavor of A’lyse Bronz to the world of “Single Ladies”. We all know that when you put a circle of strong women of color together, it is a force to be reckoned with on the level of intelligence, drama and happiness.
