Ludacris x Magnum. Luda goes from supporting the U.S. Government Census board to pushing condoms with his new Magnum Condoms promotional deal. According to Billboard, Ludacris has teamed up with Trojan Magnum condoms for its Magnum Live Large Project. The campaign will recognize men who choose Magnum as their primary condom and award a lucky winner $5,000.

Contestants can visit MagnumLiveLarge.com to download a base track to which they can record their own Magnum-inspired lyrics. Visitors will vote for their favorite and a panel of judges, including Ludacris, will narrow judge the top ten based on creativity, melody, music, lyrics and entertainment value. The winner will get $5,000, as well as having their creation played on national radio and winning a trip to a hip-hop festival in Atlanta on June 19. The winner will also be brought on-stage during one of Ludacris’ shows and luckily will not have to prove that he actually uses Magnums.

Black Eyed Peas x Blackberry. Check BEP’s new ad with Blackberry using their single “Boom, Boom, Pow” in a very Apple-like TV spot. Ad is for the new Blackberry 6 operating system.

Ice Cube x Rampart. Although Cube has been in countless movies this signing is big as he will be featured alongside Woody Harrelson and Ben Foster in Rampart, the James Ellroy-scripted drama about Los Angeles police corruption. This will be one of Cube’s first dramas (unless you call Friday or First Sunday drama) and is expected to “extend and challenge” his creative acting abilities.

Cube will play a homicide detective sent to investigate a crooked cop (Harrelson) in a film that is squarely based on the scandal involving crooked Los Angeles cops in the 1990s. Glad to know Cube will be playing a cop and not a stereotypical LA gangster. No word yet on production or release dates. Via: DeadlineHollywood

Game is back and shakin to his single “Shake” with high class Stacey Dash who still looks as bangin’ as she did back in Clueless. Opening scene actually takes place at Dr. Dre’s house in Malibu overlooking the ocean. Now that’s gangsta.

Kanye West x The Cleveland Show. Kanye gets animated as Kenny West in this upcoming episode of “The Cleveland Show.” Here is a preview of the episode including Kanye dropping a rhyme at the end.

Peanut Butter Wolf x Madlib x Beats, Rhymes & Life. Stones Throw Records artists Peanut Butter Wolf and Madlib have officially signed on to produce, compose and supervise all the music for the upcoming A Tribe Called Quest documentary Beats, Rhymes & Life. Movie has been two years in the making by actor/director/producer Michael Rappaport and is set to release this calendar year.

Although the documentary will include plenty of authorized footage and tracks from ATCQ, Peanut Butter Wold and Madlib will provide the instrumental backdrop for the film as well as original compositions. Check some clips from the film including an interview with Rappaport here.
